My artwork, design projects, and illustrations have been featured on trading cards, comic books, and a wide range of creative media. I enjoy taking on diverse projects and exploring different artistic styles, from bold graphic work to detailed traditional illustration. Alongside my art, I also work in web development, marketing, graphic design, and even archaeology—an area I’m formally trained in with two archaeology degrees. As an illustrator, I primarily work with traditional media and have created portraits, comic art, trading card illustrations, fantasy and sci‑fi artwork, film storyboards, and character designs. I work across multiple mediums, including markers, inks, designer gouache, pencil crayons, acrylics, and more. I choose each medium based on the project’s needs and the style a client is looking for.

Find Me At...
On August 1 I will be at Morrison Trading Post for the Jake Neighbours signing!
Airdrie, Alberta native and NHL St. Louis Blues superstar is signing autographs at the local Airdrie trading card store, Morrison, and in addition to photos and trading cards there will be a custom art card featuring Neighbours that I drew and designed! This is the second custom art card I’ve done for Morrison (first one was of Dustin Wolf) and it’s sure to sell out! Visit Morrison’s website to purchase your tickets today!
On August 22 I will be at the YYC FanFair 3, hosted by Alpha Comics. This is a fantastic show that takes place at the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Centre in Calgary, featuring a bunch of local artists and pop culture vendors.

I create a lot of trading card artwork and a lot of it is shown here on my website, but I’ve also created artwork for many other applications and I am a graphic designer, web developer, marketer, and even have a background in archaeology!
I love working on multiple, distinct projects that draw from my skills, and I love drawing in different styles. I also love working on web development, marketing, graphic design, or even archaeology projects; I hold two degrees in archaeology and am always looking for ways to incorporate that experience in what I’m working on. When it comes to illustration work, I am principally a traditional artist who has worked on portraits, comic art, trading card art, fantasy/science fiction art, film storyboards, and character designs. I flip between mediums, including markers, inks, designer gouache, pencil crayons, acrylics, and more. Choosing which medium to use is based off what I’m working on what someone asks me to use.
What I Do
I’m a Calgary, Alberta-based illustrator, graphic designer, marketer, web developer, and archaeologist with a passion for creating and solving problems. It might seem pretty varied but it does all interconnect. Take my Masters thesis for example, where I wrote and researched stone tools in the Canadian Prairies, created scientific illustrations of these artefacts, designed the layout of my thesis and the digital infographics for it, and was a project manager on completing and would later oversee heritage projects after graduating. Today I’m focused on marketing, design, web dev, and illustration work but every so often archaeology finds its way back into the mix!
From comic books, trading cards, and custom artwork to websites, branding, and digital marketing, I bring a creative, multidisciplinary approach to every project. Whether it’s art, design, technology, or storytelling, I’m always looking for new ways to turn ideas into something memorable.
